Volunteer Firefighter
Being a Volunteer firefighter is a great way to help your community, and learn new skills that will last a life time. Sublimity's volunteer firefighters provide fire and rescue protection to the community, and respond to medical emergencies. Sublimity responds out of two stations the main station located in Sublimity and the sub-station that is north east of Sublimity in the Drift Creek area. Student Resident Volunteer
Being a Resident Volunteer firefighter is a great way to get life experience that can be applied in a career department, and learn life skills that you can put on a resume. An individual that is accepted in Sublimity's student resident program is a regular volunteer that is studying for a degree an emergency service (fire suppression, fire prevention paramedic) and resides at the station. Does volunteer firefighting interest you, but your not 18 years old? Sublimity has a cadet program that is designed for individuals form that ages of 16 to 17. This creates a great opportunity for individuals that want to become firefighters but are under the age requirement. If you are between the ages of 16 and 17 and firefighting interest you and/or you want to hear more about the cadet program click here, so our recruiter can set up a time to meet with you.
