Lieutenant Nick Lane
Lieutenant Nick Lane began his career in emergency services in 2005, joining Sublimity Fire District as a resident intern while enrolled in the Chemeketa Community College Fire Program. He eventually was promoted to student captain at Chemeketa and led a company of fourteen students through the final year of the college program. After completing his fire degree, Lieutenant Lane continued through Chemeketa’s paramedic program, including internships with Legacy Meridian Park Hospital, Legacy Emanuel Hospital, and Lebanon Fire District. After his schooling, Lieutenant Lane was promoted to his current position at Sublimity Fire District.
Lieutenant Lane works full-time for Santiam Memorial Hospital as a paramedic. He responds to the local area on the ambulance and brings his medical experience back to Sublimity to provide the highest possible care to our community.

Lieutenant Lane possesses two (2) associate’s degree in applied science from Chemeketa Community College. One is in Fire Protection and one is in Paramedics.
Lieutenant Lane also holds numerous certifications related to fire service and medical services.
Lieutenant Lane is married and lives in Sublimity. Lieutenant Lane’s interests include: rugby, history, camping, hiking, reading, and learning languages. He also enjoys spending his time with his family and friends and is devoted to his Orthodox Church.
